The mountain fires at the summer solstice are the top highlight of every year in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Approximately on the 3rd Saturday in June (weather permitting), the valley Ehrwald-Lermoos-Biberwier shines in fiery splendor. With spectacular fire motifs you celebrate the longest day and the shortest night. Since 2010, the mountain fires of the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena have been an intangible UNESCO heritage.
Here are some photos from the event in 2019. Also I captured a time lapse from sundown until night where you can see how the mountain gets lit up.
Make sure you save the date for the event in 20.06.2020 | 21.30 o’clock.
